Hi, my name is Kelly Chambers!
My goal as an Athletic Therapist is to help individuals return to the activities they love—whether that’s day-to-day movement or high-level competition.
Over the last several years working as a field-based therapist, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands placed on athletes as they recover and return to sport. I’ve had the opportunity to work with athletes and teams across a wide range of competitive levels in basketball, hockey, rugby, soccer, and box lacrosse. I’ve also provided on-site coverage for many sporting events as a Certified First Responder and recently earned my Emergency Medical Responder certification.
I currently serve as the Head Athletic Therapist for the Winnipeg Sea Bears, and I bring experience in soft tissue release, functional dry needling, IASTM, cupping, and blade techniques. I’ve also had the honour of attending the Canada Summer Games as part of the Games Medical Staff and the Canada Winter Games as the Team Manitoba Medical Liaison.
My lifelong involvement in sport—particularly soccer and competitive artistic gymnastics—led me to pursue post-secondary education in Kinesiology and then Athletic Therapy. This background gives me firsthand insight into the athlete experience and the challenges of recovery.
I believe exercise and mobility form the foundation of successful rehabilitation. But I also don’t view individuals as “just an injury.” Returning to activity has a significant mental component, and ensuring that each person feels confident, informed, and supported at every stage of recovery is highly important to me. My goal is to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and confidence you need to return safely, strongly, and sustainably.
